About Lisa Le Touze

My journey

I became a mother in 2006. Since then I have gone to have 3 children. All their births were different and my postpartum period certainly had its ups and downs! One thought that always stayed in my mind is that we, as mothers, need as much support, encouragement and practical help as possible. It certainly is not a job for one person.

After years in HR and then deciding to be at home with my babies full time, I will always cherish that precious time. But once they were all well settled in school, I started to think of ways of supporting women during pregnancy, birth and beyond.

My path to becoming a doula was paved with a deep understanding that every expectant mother deserves to feel heard, supported, and thoroughly informed.

My greatest desire is for every new parent to look back on the birth of their baby and feel they had a positive experience, regardless of what may have unfolded. I firmly believe that all new mothers and fathers should be nurtured and cared for in those precious days and weeks following the arrival of their baby.
